Tuesday, March 3rd - ACT + Writing Test
On Tuesday, March 3rd, all Juniors will be taking the ACT + Writing Test. By state law, the ACT is being provided for all 11th graders in Wisconsin and results are reported back to the state. It is also an opportunity for all of our juniors to receive a college-reportable ACT score.
There is a pre–test portion of the ACT which Juniors will complete prior to the test which includes filling in demographic information. Students will be called alphabetically on Monday, February 24th to the cafeteria to complete this portion of the exam. If students miss this, they should report to the Ash Office to complete this BEFORE March 3rd or they WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE TEST ON MARCH 3RD.
Tuesday, March 17th, 2020
A free pancake breakfast will be provided to juniors in the morning prior to ACT testing beginning at 7:45am. Juniors should then be in their assigned testing room at 8:15am. No lunch will be served. Snacks and bottled water will be provided during a break half way through testing.
Juniors will be released upon completion of the test around 1:30pm.
Morning buses will all run as normal
Yellow buses run early (approx. 1:30pm)
Metro buses will run on regular route schedules. An "end of day" bus will run at 3:45 (students may want to consider an alternative way home since testing will conclude around 1:30pm)
ALL STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO ABIDE BY THE ACT TESTING REQUIREMENTS. This includes filling out the pre–test portion of the ACT.
ANY STUDENT FOUND IN VIOLATION OF TEST DAY REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REMOVED FROM TESTING AND THEIR TEST WILL NOT BE SCORED.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS FOR TEST DAY:
- BRING A VALID ID. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THEIR TEST ROOMS WITHOUT AN ID.
- BRING NO. 2 PENCILS.
